PSA/DNA submissions...Im a little confused

I have 5 or 6 standard sized cards I want to send in for authentication. It looks like they only come with LOA. Is there a place on the submission forms and is there an extra charge to have the cards slabbed? I'd rather have the blue flip slabs than a LOA. Anyone with any experience with this?
Thanks

<< <i>If they are standard size cards I think you can just use the regular PSA submission form and check PSA/DNA for $20 a card. I used this service for both pre-1998 insert autos and a 1966 Topps card that was signed and all were slabbed with a flip. I think the PSA/DNA submission form is mostly used for items that are not cards. >>
I believe he is correct. If they are issued cards that are autographed, I believe you use the PSA submission form and pay $20/card. I also think that you will get a red flip, but I am not 100% sure. If the cards are not issued, then you will have to use PSA/DNA forms and pay the normal fee for each autograph. On the PSA/DNA form there is a block you can check close to the top if you want them encapsulated. Hope that helps.

<< <i>My cards are not certified autos out of packs after 1998. I have things like a 1985 Topps Clemens, 1954 Bowman Kiner, 1966 Topps Fergie Jenkins....stuff like that. >>

I'm not sure about the other two cards but the Clemens would have to be sent the DEA , PSA/DNA route.

Autographed cards issued by/thru the manufacturer priorto 1998 or have been signed by the person after market need to go through the Autograph Authentication and Grading Service. The fees begin at $20 per card and go up based on the declared value.
This service is offered only on licensed cards The holders for this service will get a red flip. There are two fail points for this service, not only does the autograph need to be authentic but the card needs to be authentic and not trimmed, recolored, etc.
If the item is not a licensed trading card then you must go through PSA/DNA. The fees for this service are based on the authentication fees for that signer. PSA/DNA makes no comment on what the item is signed on.
Some people chose to send signed (after market) licensed cards through this service as well. We will only make comment about the autograph.
Blue Flips are issued for items being submitted through PSA/DNA

There is a place for this on the submission form. Please do not mix items for encapsulation with items not being encapsulated.
If the authentication fee is $50 or higher, the encapsulation fee is included in the price.
If the authentication fee is under $50 there is an additional $10 encapsulation fee per item.
PSA/DNA can only encapsulate items that will fit in our current selection of PSA holders.
If you chose encapsulation you will not get a LOA, COA or sticker on the piece. The label and sealed holder replace these items.
There are a few people who request encapsulation and a LOA. We can do this by utilizing the Letter Upgrade located on the form for an additional $10.00 per piece.
We will take a picture of the piece in the holder for the letter.
<< <i>I assumed I would be sending to PSA/DNA because I am only going for the authentication of the auto, not the grade of the card. >>
If the item is a licensed trading card you can submit them through PSA. You are given a choice for this service to have With Grade/ Without Grade. If you choose With Grade we will assign a numeric grade based on the condition of the card. If you chose Without Grade the label will only state Authentic.
If you chose to have the card graded a later date you will need to pay grading fees only as long as the card is still in our holder.
Grading of signatures is a different can of worms so I won't go in to that unless asked.
