Ted Williams Card?

Is the 1939 SAL EXHIBIT Ted Williams his rookie card? Or just the 1939 play ball? thanks

    On the Exhibit....maybe

    On the so called 1939-46 style Williams Exhibits only a scant few COULD be from 1939.

    It would have to be the tougher "#9 showing" version with a "MADE IN USA" of exactly 3/4" in length. This style was used from 1939-41. They are not too common.

    PS..... In 1942-45 the "#9 Showing" version had a 1/2" MADE IN USA. Then from 1946 all the way to 1960 the "No #9 showing" version was made (extremely common, the most common exhibit of all)
