"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."

I thought the Patriots went undefeated last season? image
  • Ask Brady if he would trade his 18-0 regular season record for not being embarrassed in the Super Bowl?

Brady would trade 18-0 for 10-6 and a Super Bowl win every time, as would most sane NFL players.

The Pats have won too much lately. If the BoSox win it this year, then I will say the same about them. Celts won for the first time since the 80's, so they have lots of work to do to be compared to the Pats.

If you bring in college sports, you have BC with
the NCAA hockey title this year and the football
team that rached #2 in the polls.
All in all, a good time to be a sports fan in Beantown!!!

putting steroids in that dirty water
  • Celtics 67-40-1 ATS
Pats basically even $$ for the year (10-9 ATS)
Red Sox up 12 units so far this year

Boston area gamblers that have been riding their teams sure are giddy this year. Some college kids that just started betting in the last couple of years are going to be in for a harsh dose of reality when this stuff turns around...

The Celtics winning the championship has made me even more angry about the Super Bowl loss to the Giants....the opportunities to have 3 reigning champions at one time are once a century, and David Tyree took that away from us!

That said, the Pats have 5 more competitive years left (until Brady starts going downhill/retiring), the Celts have at least another 2, and the Sox will always be competitive given their payroll - so maybe there will be anothe chance.

Patriots beat my Eagles in the Super Bowl a few years ago, and now tonight the Red Sox beat my Phillies. I'm beginning to not like Boston very much. image

Why is it that Boston brings about discussion of cheating? Pats recording practices, Celtics win through the playoffs because of dirty refs...whats going on here????????????????????????????????? image

Now take it easy! Im just kidding around here! image
Congrates to the Celtics...may they never win another NBA title. image

Good times indeed to be a Boston area sports fan - and the future looks bright.

And, we get to laugh at another generation of Steinbrenners.
