EDIT: One person expressed interest in this coin and asked for pics. I hadn't seen the coin in over a year so I asked my friend who I was offering it up for sale for to bring it over for pics. At a glance the coin looks great. I took some pics and after taking the pics and looking at them I found that the coin had a copper toning spot on the reverse. I looked again at the coin and sure enough the toned area was there.

Honestly I don't know if this affects the technical grade or not but thought the person who had expressed interest in the coin needed to know the info. I pm'd the person to let him know as well as what the seller would take as his "best" price. I haven't heard back from the potential buyer as yet and will give him a shot if he still wants it.

That said though... upon closer inspection with a loupe I was able to find 5 areas on the coins reverse where there is copper toning. The areas are not really noticable in hand but there is no doubt that they are there. The Obv is clean. Maybe this doesn't affect the grade but it is something that should be made aware of to any potential buyer. In the end, the coin is what it is.

I've decided that if the current potential buyer wants it with this disclosure then no problem; however if not (no problem either) I would feel more comfortable in not selling the coin as a 70 on behalf of my friend. I wasn't trying to make any money on the deal myself and would not want to feel that someone didn't get what they wanted. In my mind a 70 shouldn't have copper toning but that's just me...

Second EDIT: Buyer Passed and Coin is No Longer For Sale. Thx.

Here's the pics I took of the close ups of the coin.
