    The coin has the design of a 5 Mark of Bavaria, not Prussia, minted only 1877-78. The 2 gram purported weight (.0576 AGW) is correct but no 1887s were made at all.

    You could have it sent to PCGS for certification, and if it comes back counterfeit, I'm certain that with his 98.4% feedback rating, he'd refund your money from Istanbul, eminonu, Turkey.

    tbirde is correct. Bavaria 5 Mark gold were only made in 1877 and 1878.
    If you compare it to a real one, the lettering, date numbers, and some of the detail is all wrong...
    Definitely counterfeit.
