Lay off the sauce.
The year he won the MVP he was doing it all. His game is not what it used to be. He has shown a considerable decline since then. People do not want to hear this but, he is not a top 10 player in the league anymore. Also, the one problem with Garnett is that he can't score at will like some of the past and current greats. Just my opinion. It's completely a young mans game now even though the Celtics will probably win the title, they have a good mix of young and old. K.G. does seem to be a stand up guy though.
Commie Kevin - any more predictions? Come on, I know you have another 1000 wrong ones in you.
Alpe
Nice to see you and your bandwagon again...will you be showing up the 10th week of football too?
See you soon!

Or, it's because he's on a team where the whole franchise isn't resting on his shoulders.
The year he won the MVP, he was 28 when the season ended and averaged 24 pts, 14 rbs, and 5 assts a game. Now, as a 32 year old he averaged 19 pts, 9 rebs, and 4 apg and oh yeah, WON the DEFENSIVE POY award. Yes, there's a decline in numbers but there was also a decline in the amount of pressure on him compared to Minnesota when putting up 25 and 15 type numbers was necessary just to have a shot at going to the playoffs.
His MVP and NBA Finals trophies could care less if he's not a "top 10" player in the league, like you say he is.
<< <i>Alpo....took him 5 games to warm up. Good thing they didn't pay him a load..oh wait.....

You cant be serious. Im sure they think he is worth every penny and more. Why do you even talk(type)?

For real. With out KG the Celtics probably wouldn't have made it out of the second round.

Because if you put 100 monkeys in a room with 100 typewriters, eventually, one will type a word.
So in Joey's case, if he makes 100 predictions, eventually (or at least statistically), one should come through.
KG came through and had a MONSTER game in the clincher!!
Do you seriously think the Celtics would have won without him?
Come on folks, did you watch him just on the offensive end, or
did you also see his defensive play, as well as his pick and roll moves,
his assists, and everything else? The guy is a REAL TEAM PLAYER,
and I could not be more happy for him, even though he left our
TIMBERPUPPIES in peril !

KG was huge all season, and made his teammates better. He was a pleasure to watch, and Minnesota fans were lucky to have him for those 10 years.
The T-Wolves seemed to show some life toward the end of the season -- if McHale can get Al Jefferson some more help (and a good draft pick), they should improve.
