For all you Yankee fans...

Who is the only New York Yankee to hit a home run in his only world series at bat; and what year did it happen?

I'm pretty sure that would be Mr. Four Doubles in One Game, Jim Mason in '76 against the Reds. I don't remember which game it was, but I remember him coming in as a defensive switch. I also remember that being the first year the DH was used in the World Series.

Am I right? What did I win?

It was Jim Mason in Game 3 of the 1976 World Series, off Pat Zachry. Another interesting point is that this game was the first one played at Yankee Stadium after the renovation. It was also the first world series to use the designated hitter.
