Is it worth sending in....

I have a stack of 1954 Bowman baseball cards that could grade anywhere from 6 through 8, maybe a 9 or two
if I get lucky. I am debating if it is worth getting these cards graded. These are commons.

Any advice?

Steve

I would say you should get them graded. Check out this link for completed 1954 Bowman ebay listings. Linky

how many cards are talking about? I would send in a few (10-15) sample size and go from there. Also, I am guessing one 9 could pay for all the grading and make it very worth it.

It looks like common PSA 6's are hit or miss with a single bid when starting at 9.99, common PSA 7's seem to sell between $15 and $25 (+or- a little each way), and PSA 8's seem to bring $30 to ?? (with the ?? depending on pops and whatnot). I agree that 1 PSA 9 would make it all worthwhile. Good luck and let us know what you decide. I'm guessing these are from the mailman's binders? Scan a few if you have some time.

Thanks for the replies thus far guys, later I will scan a few.

I scanned a few last Saturday in the raw card Saturday thread.

I had checked ebay completed sales and didn't like what I saw.

I have around 50+ to send in.

Perhaps since the special is the same as a bulk order maybe it is best to send in
what I feel are the best 20?
