Sorry yall'. Thought that I had that turned on. Thankls for pointing that out. I've added it to the listings. I guess I could also point out that if one buyer wants both I will combine the shipping. If a member from here wins I will also offer up free shipping. You have to have been here for at least a couple of months though.

I did consider sending it off to be graded but I need the money next week, not in 2 months. The last ones I sent off took forever to get back. Not sure what you mean by holdered at ncs or dgs? No idea what those are. My dad had this with a bunch of other $3 golds in a big brown multi coin holder. Pretty much every year minted. He had not done anything with his collection for probably at least the last 20 years before he passed. I did see and note the mark at the top middle of the coin though. This and 3 others are the last of the $3 left, I'm keeping the last 3 along with a complete $2.50 set.

I meant that the mar at 12 o'clock would probably keep it fron holdering at PCGS or NGC. From the position of it I inferred it may have been used as jewelry in the past. Not uncommon for the type. Mike
Ah - okay. I guess maybe it was used as a pendant at some point like on a necklace. For what I've determined this morning is that means it may still grade decent but would have to be through like anacs who would "net" grade it. I reckon wearing money as jewelry was fasionable back then.

Final bump - couple of hours to go. If one of you here wins be sure to PM me here and reply to this thread so I'll know to remove the shipping costs. My reserve of $750 has been met on both coins so the high bidders wins. Good luck and I personally do hope it's a CU members that does get these.
