Lakers crash and burn - blow a 24 point lead in game four

On their home court no less. The worse game in franchise history? Maybe.

As a Laker fan, I would have to say it could be one of the worst losses ever in Finals history. It's beyond me how none of the Lakers could make a difference down the stretch. Of course Kobe comes up with amazing shots, but he had to worn down after running up and down the court with Pierce. And Phil Jackson could not make any adjustments to stop the Celtics and that could be a reflection how much they over achieved during the season as Kobe can only carry them so far. But it was also a reflection of how good the Celtics defense is. And when they were down big, Doc kept telling his guys to play Defense and the offense will always come with it as it had all year long. And leaving the Lakers Turiaf out there during crunch time? That was probably a Gasol being worn down as he is not really a center. Also, look at the Celtics, they had guys who come off the bench and contribute.
It will be interesting to see how the series finishes out...How many games will the Lakers end up winning before the Celtics win it because you know the Celtics will NOT lose 2 at home.

Total choke. Put a fork in them.....

Boston has been on a pretty fair sports run in recent years.

This game will go down in history, along with buckner and the 86 world series. Norwood's wide right field goal, etc. A complete collapse.

I thought they might have had it at the end. That drive by Allen on Vujacic at the end, that'll be replayed many times to come.

Yes it will, but poor Buckner will always stand out as it was his fault where none of the individual Lakers will stand outm that way when we look back at the series.
