Any information for me on this coin?

I don'y have my Krause with me and would like any info you may have.

Sorry about the photo quality. I took it as a test with almost no light at all. As you see it wasn't a sucessful test. Coin is a proff and the figer print is on the 2x2 plastic

Thanks for any help you may give

  • Krause lists it at $2

    Mintage of 5,056

When and if I buy coins like this I always look for heavy cameos on both sides. I believe their eye appeal leads to better value

I got this with a collection I bought a few years ago. It is a very brilliant coin and sure looks to be proof.

I will take some better pics later.

    Thanks again

  • I think the obverse was by an US engraver. It looks like Frank Gasparro's monogram on it.

I've always liked this design and it works well in silver too.

The '68 and '70 BU versions are much more likely to advance
in price. They're both common but they'll have a lot more de-
mand. Liberia's economy may be a few years from turning
    around yet.
