Watch out for double payments with paypal....UPDATE:REFUNDED

I was just looking through my paypal history which i never do and noticed that it charged me twice for a payment to columbia sports cards. $106.45 with two different transaction #'s. This happen to anyone else?


Here is the e-mail i got back:
Dear Roger Mexxxxxxxx,

Columbia Sports Card, LLC (steve@columbiasportscard.com) has issued you a full
or partial refund for your payment.


Message from merchant: Duplicate Payment. Sorry, we never look in our PayPal
account except to withdraw money from it. Thanks!

I received a double payment last week and refunded one. 2nd time this has happened in 6 years on paypal

I do mostly selling and the stuff I've bought lately has been "checks or money orders only" auctions. I've been seeing that more and more, no surprise I guess. I'm always careful to watch for double payments though. I've noticed some problems with Paypal's site about a week ago where incoming payments weren't showing up and I wasn't rec. emails for payments. I think they've fixed that now. I would call customer service and see what's up. Let us know.
