A/C's out again, can't sleep, sorting cards....

Well, the A/C's out again. We've only lived here for a couple of months and I keep telling them how to fix the problem but they won't. Goin in the morning to talk to the manager. Can't sleep and was sorting through some cards. Does anyone remember the 1992 Topps Mini Baseball cards? I had forgotten that I had a set of these with the gold cards in them. Pretty nice.
Also debating on whether or not I should pre-buy some A&G. Just rambling....

    Chris,

Not quite as late there, but I'm stewing about something.

How does this Yes, it's my auction

Go for what it does and than this happens

    huh?

    Another huh?

    Crap, man

A hundred bucks is a hundred bucks and I should be grateful and it's the same guy buying all of them, but, wow, what a difference.

Wow man, you should've messaged that guy and told him you'd cut him a deal. That's insane. The current room temp is now nearing 80. Not going to be a fun night.

It's important to note the end dates. Live and learn. I thought first out of the gate might mean something. C'est La Vie

Mine's out too (or, at least it's almost out). The repair man is coming this afternoon. I just had the compressor replaced last summer. I had to sell my 64 Topps Giants Mantle Auto PSA/DNA to pay for it! image

My son is on the way to West Africa to teach High School age kids, for the Peace Corps (27 months). No power... Daytime temps reach 120* in the shade.

How do they do it happily, without AC, refrigeration, a swimming pool or cold beverages? Incidentally, I'm a wuss and couldn't take that job for one week!.. The dry heat thing must be true!?

One of the kids on my mail route had about $300 worth of packages on Friday. When I went to his house to deliver them, we talked about him coming back from Iraq. He said it was real hot there, but more uncomfortable here.

It was low 90s here with high humidity.

A few years ago when I had my garage I had as a customer a man from Sudan. He told me they wouldn't even bother with the air conditioner until it reached 115+. He had a rough time here when it snowed.
