Thought I got a deal.. Paid full market price.

I saw a Jordan PSA 9 rookie for sale with a best offer option. In my mind I was sure they were selling for $1200.00 so I offered 1000.00.
I won the auction, checked VCP and they only sell for $950-$1000.00 Godforbid I check VCP BEFORE I throw out an offer.

Blah.

He it could be worse, you could have thought it was a 2K card and bought it for 1500 right?

Still a very nice card to own

Don't worry he goes to the hall of fame this year I think... there should be a rise in his card when that happens!

The price of the card already has the HOF "built in" . I highly doubt making the HOF will make his cards spike.

Yeah, i think this is basically a $950-$1100 card for the next 10 years with some premiums paid for centering.
    Oh well.
  • Was it for yourself or for resale? If it was for you I wouldn't worry about. You offered a price you were ok with and got it.(I'm sure you already know all this)

Well, it could've been worse. Could've been paying an old price for a Barry Bonds card... Or even worse, it could've been a BGS 9!

It's a Michael Jordan PSA 9 rookie card. Don't worry about it as long as your happy with the card. Now if you were buying it for a quick profit, that's another story.

Still a nice card at a "currently" reasonable retail-price.

Nothing wrong with full price for a nice card - thank goodness it was nothing trendy like the Jeter/Bush or "Hillary Error" - a PSA 9 Jordan RC will never fall out of favor.

Ah ha, you paid retail. And you fancy yourself a card dealer. You're nothing but another schmuck consumer stimulating the economy.

Knowing Roger, I'm sure he's probably stimulating more than just the "economy" . . . unless that's his pet name for "it." I'm not too privy to the inner sanctum of these boards (and thankfully so oft times).
