2008 Upper Deck Heroes Baseball/Football

Is anyone going to be collecting the 2008 Upper Deck Heroes baseball &/or football? I remember liking the Heroes subsets in the early 90s. I was curious if there was any interest in this product.

    There are too many variations going on with these sets that it is next to impossible to collect them. I may buy a pack or two but that is about it.

    I bought 2 football hobby boxes. Does anyone know if Upper Deck skipped cards # 261-263?

    Do you have card #:
    14,17,27, 30, 43, 63, 92, 93, 108, 131, 138, 179, 195, (261, 262, 263) <-- why did they skiip these numbers?

    I wouldnt know, bc I started collecting around January...don't really know much about the designs. sorry.

    Yes, the 2008 Heroes have the same design as the football heroes from the early 90s and 2005.

    I bought the majority of a Heroes FB Box.

    Got a redemption for a Michael Johnson (5 time Olympic Gold Medal winner) that was numbered to 5.

    I am not doing the set so if anyone needs FB singles let me know

    I bought two boxes of this stuff and it was loaded..on card autos too!

    I have not bought any excapt for a retail blaster, but the cards look great. Will wait for the price to drop a little and may buy some more.

    I looked at the current ebay listings for these cards, and the first thing I found is that there are entirely too many redemption autographs...with the exception of John Elway, Barry Sanders and Crybaby Eli, all the known active/retired players are redemptionsimage
