I assume you are coming the end of the month right?

Be sure to leave for the Dodger game early, cause the 101/110 freeways are a nightmare!

Day 2- When you are in the Farmer's Market area, have you thought about driving over to the La Brea Tar Pits? That's something worth seeing as a family, especially with a kid.

Day 3- I forget how long you can spend at Universal Studios on the tour, but you might be able to squeeze some of your day two things on the way back from Universal, but that depends if you stay long enough and have dinner up there.

    Day 5 - Disneyland!!!!!!!!!! image

It looks like you put some good thoughts into it. If you don't change a thing, you will have a blast, don't worry. Play it by ear when you are on your trip as you might want to spend more time in certain places. Either way, assuming you're coming the end of this month, the days are long and the evenings are very nice. You should have nice long days to enjoy your trip. I think you planned your trip well and keep in mind that you can't see everything in 4 days. I'll be 40 this August and have lived here my whole life and I'm always finding places I still want to see.

I"d put Venice Beach on there, and do it on the weekend. Where you have the bike ride in Santa Monica, switch those days around. Alternately put Venice Boardwalk along with walking the canals, they're only about 3 blocks apart.
Dodger Stadiums parking is a lot better this year since they've redone it, leaving the game early is sacriligeous.
IMO driving Mulhullond isn't that big a deal, and if you're the driver you won't see much- too many turns and nut jobs crossing over into your lane.
    Overall looks pretty good though.

The Promenade will be great for you and your family. Malibu is worth the effort.

If you're going on a weekday, the front of the line passes for Universal Studios are not worth it. Even the best rides will likely have 15 minutes or less in the line. Bring changes of clothing for all of you and a bathing suit for your daughter - the most popular ride is Jurassic Park, which will get you wet, and there is an outdoor water play area for kids that will get anyone involved soaked.

Bring as many extra memory sticks as you can. It's easier than running to a drugstore or grocery store for disposable cameras.

Good itinerary for a family with a fairly small child.
