A Public Thank You To smtjoy

As there are so many discussions on the bad side of the hobby (bad buyers/bad sellers/various scams) it's good to know that there are still many people that bring the fun and joy to the collecting of our cardboard heroes and many are present on this board. Lots of great advice given out freely day in and day out and the occasional drama (come on, admit that you like it from time to time
) and some very generous people as well.
I want to quote from This Thread started the other day.
7. Many generous people on this forum. You can get some really nice cards from these people
To this I am one of the numerous people on this board that have been blessed to have an act of kindness occur and wanted to publicly thank and let others see the generosity of one of the board members.
On the 30th of May I was doing my daily routine of reading up on the various discussions on here and when I hit the back button noticed I had a PM. Hmmm? I don't normally get PM's unless I'm doing a transaction with someone so went and checked it out and it was from smtjoy. I won't show the PM but in part he has been enjoying the pics of my collection and wanted to send me a box of stuff if I wanted it at no cost. Well I'm not one to pass up on anything to add to my collection so I of course gladly accepted the offer.
On Thursday a package arrived. It was a good size box that the mail lady jammed into our box and I had to give it a good tug to free it. Brought it in and opened it and, well I want to share the contents here.

When I opened the box I was like a child at Christmas. I haven't had so much fun with cards in awhile as I have had with this box. I was sorting and taking pictures and scans for two days and I still have the box at my computer so that I can look at them throughout the day.
As I have been on both sides of this hobby (small shop owner at one time) I have seen both the good side and bad side and it's people like this that have kept my faith in this hobby and by showing others hopefully it can bring the attention to some of the better aspects of why we collect what we do.
So a big THANK YOU to Scott (smtjoy) for this wonderful act of kindness as it means a lot to me.

Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
There are a lot more examples of this type of giving on the board that we don't always see acknowledged publicly but the spirit is the same.
