Any thoughts on the NBA finals now that game one is in the books?

...other than the retarded start time of 9pm eastern, which has me sleeping through the 2nd half, and the fact that game 2 is
on a work night (Sunday) instead of Saturday. Is the Celtics defense too much for the Lakers, or will they bounce back?
What impact will Pierce's, and Perkin's injuries have? What about the Laker's bench? Why is this the only thread on the
NBA finals?

Well, so much for some commentators I have read that said the Celtics were going to be a pushover for the Lakers.

Game two is critical for the Lakers, if they don't win they will have to win the series in Boston if it makes it back there after the next
    three scheduled games in LA.

I figured the Lakers at best would get a split in Boston. Not making any excuses for the Lakers, they seemed off during most of the game. Now that could be because of how tough and fast the Celtics played, hard to say.
I still feel optimistic about the Lakers because its a 7 game series and the Celtic already have a couple of players who are dinged up, and one of them is one of the leaders. I'm sure it will be a battle either way.
