    Why won't they grade them?

I would talk to JO and try to convince him.

Why wold you sell the cards if PSA won't grade them? Kind of defeats the purpose of collecting.

Tristar does some really weird crap. Why not just insert the entire card? I bought a blaster box from them once and I swear to you every pack was the same. Jim Fergosi 1989 topps I think 5 per pack * 12 packs. Tri star puts on great shows but they can stay out of the retail market.

I think Tri-Star isnt licensed by the MLB. Maybe thats why they wont grade them? Just a guess.

Every signacut I have seen were just as ugly as those Rose cards. Maybe PSA just doesn't grade ugly cards any more.

    BGS will grade them.

As far as all signa cuts being "ugly", I am not sure how productive it is for someone to note this every time someone brings these cards up.

    However, I disagree.

Many of them are small cards that were signed to fit inside the little frames.....like this Bob Lilly...

I really like them in the football section, as they go for next to nothing on eBay, and you can get certified autos of many Heisman and HOF'ers. I prefer them over index cards....and index cards are cool.

Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Hey, let's keep kind of stuff off of here - take it OVER TO THE BECKETT BOARD.

    Don - nice cards.

Did PSA indicate why they won't grade them?
If the problem is that the card is too thick (no holder available), just leave them ungraded. If the problem has to do with the licensing of the card, contact Joe Orlando - they should be able to slab them as "trade cards".

That one is a sticker. The sticker says Tri-Star real lightly, like some of the stickers from other major card companies do.

Here is one from an index card...

They probably get the auto guests at their shows to sign stickers. Good way to kill two birds with one stone.

I thought I would also add (cause I appear to be really bored and posting a lot) that all the Signa Cuts I have would be 7's I think...they are all nicked a little on the corners and edges. Tri Star did a terrible job in that regard.

Another side note: The frames are themed and color matched. So all the Heisman cards are the same color, all the HOF cards, all the All-Star, et al...

If I was a Pete Rose collector, I would definitely keep the two cards. If you must have them PSA slabbed, perhaps they would slab them authentic? Otherwise I would just go with one of the other graders, someone would slab them.

Ok cool. I'd be bummed to get the sticker one. Being it's named Signa Cuts I want a cut sig. Not a sticker on a index, then cut.
