Registry V.2: how do you stop spam in the "Action" column?

I don't want to see comments on my set from a dealer who has just the card I need to update my set. This is way too intrusive; I thought it was bad enough when I got Registry based email spam; this is even more insidious.
Any way to opt out of this?

The exact thing I am complaining about rears its head in the "Action" column of card #61.

<< <i>I think if you can add any comment to anyones sets they are definitely going to need a moderator there, or even more quality sets will be deleted. >>
The whole idea of allowing 3rd party comments in registry sets is foolish.

I hope we can opt out of this.
company. Collectors Corner is a marketplace for coins, currency and trading
cards. When you are in a set in MY SETS, if an item that is being listed in
Collectors Corner is available to fill a slot or upgrade an item in your set,
there will be a link in the ACTION column. Clicking this link will take you
directly to Collectors Corner where you can purchase the item from an authorized
dealer. Additionally, in your preferences, you have the option to receive
emails when items are available that will upgrade your sets.

Are you talking about comments on your set or the "action" column when you edit? If it is comments on your set you can delete it. If you are talking about the action column when you edit you can not delete it. What you see when you edit is not direct spamming from a dealer, it is Coins or cards available from dealers listed on "Collectors Corner". Collectors Universe owns Collectors corner. Currently their are 4 card (I think) dealers signed up. I am sure this number will grow in time. You can get the link to Collectors corner at the top of this page for more info. Whenever a dealer has a card listed on collectors corner that may work to fill a space in your registry set, V2 automatically downloads it as a clickable option when you view your edit page. You are seeing a lot of Leroys cards right now, because he problably has more available inventory listed than the others.
This is a new feature, I kind of thought it was cool. I guess others may not.
Collectors Corner is part of a publicly traded company called Collectors Universe, which also owns PSA. CC originally started as a marketplace for coins. It has now expanded to currency and trading cards. The dealers who are listing cards are authorized dealers. Your sets are kept completely private from the listing dealers or anyone else for that matter. I want to emphasize that we will never release to anyone, information about you or your sets.
The link to CC only appears in the Action Column if there is a card available that will upgrade or fill a hole in your set. If you do not want to buy cards from these dealers, then simply do not click the link to Collectors Corner. Also, in your preferences, you can opt out to not receive emails about new cards being featured in CC.
In the week since we linked to CC, there has been an amazing amount of activity. If you are an authorized dealer and want to get your inventory listed, you may want to contact Cassi East at 949-567-1332.

Though Collectors Corner "targeting" may be considered a service, I still think it's the same a spam email, and I strongly urge us all to demand that we have the opportunity to opt out of it.
VCP does this the proper way. YOU fill out a want list and they email you when a card that YOU requested comes up for sale, auction, etc.
A dealer having access to the holes of my inventory is not at all what I envisioned with the PSA Set Registry.
I don't believe that the dealers have access to your sets and inventory. Since CU runs both the PSA Set Registry and Collectors Corner, I believe the way it works is that both databases communicate with one another. When the Registry sees a blank in a set, and the CC database has a listing for that card, the Action alert appears in your set. The dealers do not see what is in your set or know that you received an Action alert. Since there are thousands of cards listed on CC, many cards would be available that would fill sets. I'll leave it to BJ to confirm that this is how it works.

<< <i>How can PSA say that my sets are kept private from listing dealers? Is it merely a mammoth coincidence that these dealers seem to know exactly what holes there are to fill in my sets?

In reference to the action column on your edit page, the dealers do not see that. Collectors Corner (owned by CU who owns PSA) see's it. Collector 's Universe downloads the info, not the dealers. In no way are you being "spammed' by a dealer. Collectors Universe is only letting you know that some of your fellow members that are dealers have inventory that you may be able to use. Do not read anything more into it than that, because that is all there is.
