Question for the board about a 1975 strat-o-matic full set

Is it worth more as a full set?
Or selling the teams individually?

If you could sell all the teams individually I would suppose you could get more that way, but and this is a big
but, who wants individual teams? Most people I know would want the full set in the box.

    Good for you.

That's exactly why I'm reaching out to the board.

There are several teams on ebay and people seem to be going for that (even on the completed search).

Do people still play? And are they buying teams to play?

I have that set, too! Wait, maybe it is the 1976 set that I have. What's the one where Johnstone hit .329 and Brown hoit .303 for the Phils? Oscar Zamora was the WORST!

This bad boy? It has 1975 stats, I'm guessing that makes it a 1976 set.

    Brown? Do you mean Bowa?

I've been playing Strat for about 15 years, and some of the old sets are quite valuable. I think you'll likely do better selling as a set, as opposed to individual teams. I assume this is an original 1975 set, though, and not a later reissue, correct?

I played a lot of Stratomatic in the 70's and didn't realize until the past few weeks that the game is still popular. I joined a Stratomatic league sponsored by The Sporting News recently which has tons of leagues from all era's. Couldn't resist joining a 70's only league.

The set is the original, I guess from 1976 since it has 1975 stats.

I also have a set of Hall Of Famers, about 40 AL and about 40 NL, which I'm guessing came out around the same time, because that's the only year my brother and I bought the game.
