FSH: 1821 O-103 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS XF-40.............ON HOLD
This coin has original, choice surfaces with a very nice strike for the date and some underlying luster peeking through the chocolate brown toning. The 1821 CBH happens to be a more difficult date than many of the teen dates, according to Edgar Souder's book, Bust Half Fever, and, this particular coin happens to be as crusty and original as they get, unlike many of the cleaned, wiped, or dipped CBH's out there. BTW, the marks beneath the right wing and the scratches across the E and last S in STATES are on the holder, not the coin.

FSH: 1824/1 O-101 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS XF-40 - LOW POP.............ON HOLD
This coin has original, choice surfaces for the grade with traces of luster glowing beneath the charcoal gray toning. On the reverse, there is traces of red within the luster around the periphery. It is a beautiful coin and I am reluctantly selling it to raise money for another coin purchase.
The 1824/1 is a scarce overdate according to Edgar Souder's book, Bust Half Fever, with an estimated survival of 400-425 in ALL grades, including the O-102!!
PCGS has graded only 60 in ALL grades!!!
