At the beginning of the 2007-08 NBA season, the Lakers were 35-1 and the Celtics were 10-1 to win the title. Did anyone take them?

P.S. The favorites were Suns and Spurs both @ 17-4. New Orleans? Try 100-1.

If at the beginning of the season the Lakers had Pau Gasol they would've been around 10/1 also. They are not in the finals without that trade.

When the odds in the newspaper was cutout and the sheet hung on the dartboard, it depends on where the dart landed. LOL

I was in Vegas 2 weeks before the Garnett deal. The Celtics were not 10-1 then...they were 66-1, and usually when I go to Vegas, I'll drop $20 on every Boston team to win the title, but that time I felt like it was just throwing away money on the C's and didn't pul the trigger. DOH!!
