Does anyone know how much this card is worth?

I have had it since new back in 1991 so it is really, really old. It went right into a penny sleeve and toploader so that means it is mint!
Should I grade it and quadruple it's worth? I'm sure by now I can sell this bad boy for a ton and be set for the rest of my life.
Any suggetions?
Thanks in advance

    I would laminate it.

That was the coolest set when it came out. It even had me picking up some of the basketball ones later.

So I'm looking at about $4000.00 graded.....that is great news!

Well, that card is soooo condition sensative, 4000 maybe for a 9...but if you hit a Gem Mint 10, you are looking at at least 7K. I heard PRO would be the company you would want to send it for grading because of their high standards and return on your money.
    Good Luck

Maybe he'll make a comeback at about age 37 like Roy Hobbs did.

I have to say that there is no way that card is trimmed. PRO grading will verify that.
  • I found 3 other cards just like that in a dumpster and would love to sell them to the highest bidder.
Atlanta Braves, Charlotte Hornets, Shawn Kemp, Dale Murphy, and Bobby Engram.
  • do you still have the wrapper from that pack you got it from? i'd be interested in buying it for my bar top.

Sorry, Gary already beat you to it. He did mention he had some nice Topps mini wrappers if you would like them instead.

Bah. Check this out. I'm thinking about sending this to my mortgage company, instead of a check this month. How many months do you think this'll cover?

Just for pure nostalgia, could someone with access to the POP post an entire report for Brien Taylor. I'm curious as to what, if any, cards he has graded out there ... kinda similar to the couple of Gregg Jefferies cards I have image

Everyone should have seen that bar fight a comin'! On a side note, if not for being as stupid a ball player as there ever was, he was absolutely unreal prior to his injury. Thanks for the memories with the pic.

those battle scars on his cheek should have warned King George....
  • Just curious, where is Taylor in 2008? Living off his invested bonus or coaching T-Ball?

What about all the " hot, can't miss " early 90's rookies, like Nigel Wilson, Mark Smith, Chris Snopek, Pat Listach, Greg Blosser, Darrell Whitmore and Billy Ashley? Anyone still holding onto 100 card piles of Roger Salkeld and Scott Ruffcorn?

    Interesting artical digi...thanks

Looks like I'm not gonna cash in on this card afterall. I should be okay though. I hear alot of really great things about this young guy named Ryan Leaf. He is gonna be the next Dan Marino. Strong, rocket arm and the smarts to go with it. I suggest you guys stock up on his rc's now before I buy them all up.

Don't be silly, Matt. We all know that Tim Couch is the next Dan Marino.
