Can anyone identify this old coin. It is probably copper, small and thin, slightly smaller than a U.S. Dime. Cross on obverse has some design on each end of cross.
I think this is from the Italian city of Siena, probably 1300s but could be 1200s-1500s. Top picture "Virgi Civitas". Rotate the bottom picture 90 degrees and the central device should be an ornate 'S'.
