    Well, believe it or not, the Cubs have the best record in baseball...therefore, I hope it's the Red Sox and Cubs. I think the Chicagoans have suffered long enough, like since 1908. Imagine the hooplah over a match up like this!!

    BTW, with the way the Yankees are going, I seriously doubt they'll be an issue in the Fall. 6.5 back and sinking...we'll see how well Joba does tomorrow night. I think the Yankees are heaping a lot of pressure on a 22 year old kid, who already has a ton of pressure from his dad's situation. How on earth can they think one guy can be such a saviour? Wait till he gets shelled early in a game, could nuke his confidence...we'll see, I wish him well.

    Huge series in Fenway coming up, Rays are on fire. However, we play well at home, it'd be nice to take at least 2 out of 3. Nice win yesterday to allow the bullpen a breather.

    Anybody remember Nick Esasky? Didn't he also have vertigo symptoms that actually ended his career? I remember when the Braves won it all and he had the stones to ride in an open car down Peachtree St in Atlanta, as though he was a contributing factor the the Braves success...BS. I doubt he had but a handful of at bats. Drew continues to mystify me, he just seems so stoic, rarely smiles and seems like he sits by himself in the dugout. I think I saw him smile after the huge dinger yesterday.

    Are we listing realistic World Series Matchups or what we are hoping for? Being realistic, it really depends on who stays healthy and how some of the new prospects develop in the bigs. I'm Dodger fan, but most importantly a baseball fan and I'm happy to see teams like the Rays, Marlins, Cubs, and the other teams doing well. Should be a great season. I'm sure many people will be upset when the same teams like the Yankees fight their way back into the chase.

    I'm sure the AL will be either the Red Sox or Angels and the NL could be any team...Cubs, Phillies, the Dirty Snakes, who knows. If we can have a Celtics Lakers NBA Finals, how bout a Yankees vs. Dodgers Series? image
