RonB, how the @%#$! do you keep doing this??? There should be no way to pull a nice raw ExMt Bunning like that. You seem to do this every single week.

Thanks and with regard to shows, it is really hit or miss. Sometimes dealers have the same old inventory, and sometimes (like this time) they have fresh stuff. Which has gotten me to thinking - yes, Ebay has killed the shows to some extent, but one thing that's overlooked is that a lot of dealers (understandably) have given up trying to find fresh raw stuff as it has gotten somewhat harder to find over the years. The guys that make the effort these days are the guys that are still succeeding.

Most of these were bought at 80-90% of Beckett. The Bunning at 50% of Beckett was an absolute steal.

Nice cards! That Leon Hart is very nicely centered, is that a Large or small?
  • Nice stuff, Ron.

    I especially love the Musial!

The Hart is a '52 Large. Just beautiful cards - works of art, really - when found nice.

that kind of baseball stuff I see locally but not the football.

Ron, what did that Brown set you back? I have watched a couple psa 7s recently, end over $100.
Also if you're trading that McElhenny let me know what you're looking for.

    Guys -

Take a closer look at the Brown. Left edge is kind of wavy. Bosox 76 alerted me to this and I looked at it again tonight. Looks wavy and suspicious to me, although it has characteristics of bad rubber band damage too so I'm not entirely sure. Regardless it's going to Newport Beach soon and I will post the results. Fortunately I can get a refund if it's not holdered.

Mr. Bunning now rests in a PSA 7 holder and is a double of mine, so if anyone wants it, let me know. $105 delivered.

    Thanks,
