ok i give up- what is this old coin?

i figured i'd find it in a 1600's or 1700's Krause under italy, the papal states or maybe even poland. no luck. anybody recognize it??

I am thinking Norway, Netherlands, or Sweden. I cannot seem to find it in the 17th century Krause though. -Dan

Maybe it's a 1500's coin.

I suspect it is a token for the parish of St. Dionysius, Liege, Belgium. c. 1600-1700.
These are the closest things I could find.

wow DCH.. that does look like you've nailed the location! And probably the time period too-- thanks! I was STILL in the process of trying to figure out where it was from!
