Funny ebay story

I sold a guy a $21 PCGS sac. Shipped next day. glowing feedback.

Today I recieved 6 BU Kennedy halves from him with a note, "Please send me the items I ordered and paid for." Inside was my card.

But also inside was the packing slip from another seller--to another buyer. So the seller sent him the wrong coins and he returned them to the wrong seller (me)...

I just requested his contact info so I can call him. this might never get resolved by e-mail. LOL.

About 18 months ago I got a nasty eMail from a bidder claiming I sent him a different coin than was pictured in the auction. Did a search of his purchases and found he'd also bought a same grade example of the same coin from another seller. image

I am dealing with a fun eBay situation right now. Sold a coin to a buyer in Canada last month. He asked me to ship to his NY P.O. Box so that he could take advantage of my free shipping. Sent the coin via Priority ($10 with insurance). About two weeks later he emails me asking if I shipped the coin and if I had a tracking number. The next day I find the package at my P.O. It was returned with a note of "box closed." I email him and attached a picture of the box with the note (so he knows that I did my part). He apologized and I shipped it again......at my expense. He called me a few days ago and told me that he still had not paid up for his box and the package would probably be returned again. This time he said he was going to send me $20 to cover the fees. Well, the box showed up here yesterday with the same note. He said that it was a bad winter and he didn't check his NY box for a few months and didn't pay the bill. Anyway, he asked me to ship it again to his NY address, but this time I am shipping it to Canada. Wonder if it will get there this time.....
  • Once had a person write me three e-mails saying they didn't recieve their cent. Kept telling them that the Post office showed delivery. They time and again assured me they hadn't recieved it. I asked them to look one more time and ask any family members about it. Seems the 7 year old kid recv'd the package and stuffed it into the fruit basket on the dining room table. 1922-D Lincoln.

This is what happens when postal employees buy goods on ebay.

I would have lost my patience by now with this buyer. Running to the PO 3 times can get expensive and time consuming.
