While the coins are decent, the prices are a bit on the high side for the grades.

Some might be on the high side, but keep in mind most coins are hide to find in certain grades and nicer struck, where the price in the price guide sometimes doesn't reflect the scarceness on such coins. Just a tidbit, very nice coins!

<< <i>While the coins are decent, the prices are a bit on the high side for the grades. >>

Here is how I arrived at my prices.

16-D is a beautiful coin which is bid $28 in AU50 and $55 in MS60.
    1915 is a solid VF30 which is bid at $14 in VF20.
1909 VDB is a 64RD which is bid at $65
    1927 is a 64RD which is bid at $25
    18-S is an XF45 which is bid $8 in XF40 and $25 in AU50.
    19-S is bid $13 in AU50 and $30 in MS60.
20-D is solid XF which is priced at bid of $15.
26---If you dont think it is worth 4 packs of cheap cigarettes then dont buy it. Priced at 64 ask.
    24-D is a no brainer VF30-35. VF20 bid is $51 and 40 bid is $95.
    25-S is bid $9 in xf40 and $25 in AU50.
    21-S is a solid XF40 which is bid at $28 in XF40 and $55 in AU50.
19-D is bid in XF at $10. I was at $18. Priced lowered to $10.

I think you are confusing an unven strike with wear. The right wheat stalks are usually weaker. But look at the left stalks. They barely show any wear.

I'm a notorious bottom feeder and pick off artist, scrounging the local shows and shops trying to find good coins at good prices, and my first impression was that most of these coins are very fairly priced, right around Greysheet Ask. I expect most or all would sell fairly quickly here.
Oops - I see the OP justified his prices while I was typing this up!

I find nothing out of line with those prices. If I were building that type of set, I'd jump for a few. Mike

I've dealt with Dave (Cohodk) before. Great person to deal with and fair on the prices.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I think it's a little tacky to post about another person's asking prices. If you want to try and negotiate someone down, PM them. If you think the prices are too high and don't plan on buying, let other folks make up their own mind. A fair price is what someone is willing to pay.

I know asking prices can be a sore spot at times. But I do appreciate when board members actually discuss pricing with a reasonable and logical discourse. I agree this could have been handled over PM but both parties acted in civil manner.

Uh-oh, I feel a love fest coming on.....

I've got no problem with members discussing prices, per se, but not in the seller's thread (and probably not with a link to it either). What if a potential buyer changes their mind about a buy because some wiseguy decides his opinion is that the coins are overpriced? They weren't until the buyer was preemptively talked out of it by someone running their mouths.

Or think about it this way: would a seller tolerate a couple guys standing in front of his table at a show yapping about how this and that are overpriced? Heck no, he'd ask them to leave - except here, their opinions are now posted permanently in front of the goods. It'd be like the guys sitting at the table writing 'overpriced' on the seller's 2x2s.

Coins may or may not be overpriced, but I don't think it's anyone's business to sit in front of someone else's goods and talk smack about them.

Edit to add: I have done business with Dave and thought my item was fairly priced.
