happen to be hanging with a fellow this past weekend .... talking about collecting and he mentioned that he enjoyed ripping the liquor stores..... what he does is go to stores that are out in the boonies and buy bottles of red wine that have been on their shelves for years....they never change prices and put it out at old inventory price...certain bottles have gone way up in value....
... he was in Montauk that afternoon and bought several hundred dollars worth..... said that in NY city his cost would have been 4x and that he could sell a few and recoup his investment....

He is just a GOOD buyer.
It's not stealing, just smart buying.
