please grade my 1/3 farthing 1885

This was bought many years ago by the previous owner from B.A. Seaby in London. I still have the little envelope it was sold in which is pretty cool.
What do you think it grades?
Thanks,
Richard

AU 55. There appears to be planchet action--some hair lines, some roughness as well to the surface in general, and some rub beneath the rims, imho.

58-62RB or RD. Tough to grade because they're so darned tiny. Hits are magnified with respect to the features. Can't tell if the color is natural.

Actually, the coin needs to be seen in person as it is hard to tell if there might be color issues. Still, this looks to be struck by a late state die with many breaks - I think the obverse die was truly ready to pack it in.

I think I might go MS63 RB because I think many of the hits/rubs are actually in reverse, that is likely to the die itself. Brits would give it a GEF with lustre designation, probably.

    Well, just Love coins, period.
  • Cool die crack between the D & G.

Not sure of the grade either due to the photos but I'd go with AU+/MS-.
The meaning of life ? I don't know but I am sure that coins have something to do with it.

MS62RB. Assuming that this is not how the coin's colour looks like.
