capped bust half dimes (especially MS65) have been moving northward quite steadily for the past half year, give or take

Subtext: Big Bust, Small Bust, Draped Bust, Capped Bust, anything Bust is Smokin' HOT!!

The prices for scarce circulated material are very strong too.

But proof Seated Lib half dimes were a bit lagging...

I believe the coming slowdown in the coin market in general will see a strong net rise in the true gem CBH's,
A slight pullback in the lower MS grades 60-63
A neutral to slightly positive rise in true AU's
A stabilization of the VF-XF grades
A slight rise in the VG-F coins
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

I know the Bust Quarters I was bidding on all went to the moon!

Go to Early United States Coins - to order the New "Early United States Half Dollar Vol. 1 / 1794-1807" book or the 1st new Bust Quarter book!

    in PCGS MS-64. It wasn't cheap neither.image

    Bear,
I only snagged one myself, 1805 B-2. Really wanted that 1807 B-2 in AU-58...went for 12K plus the juice!

    The 1833 B-1 PR-65 went for 130K + the juice!!!

I was bidding on one item this evening and it went for about twice the amount of what I thought was my strong bid! Oh well, still have a few chances to win in the next few days image
