Half Dollar 1943 Double date?

This picture is from my 1943 Half Dollar. The coin itself is worn and ugly, but I find the date interesting.
Am I right if I call this a double die? Or a triple die? To me, it looks as if there is:
- One 4 to the left of the printed 4.
- One 4 far to the right of it. Almost into the 3.
And what's that on the upper right side of the 3?
