Is this 1877 Columbia 5 Decimos a counterfeit?

This is listed in my 4th edition Krause as Rare with only 2 known. It definitely does not look right. My question is if it is not real, how and why would someone make this particular coin? Does anyone know this series? -Dan

Hmm.. not certain, will need to check my own Krause later. The date does look unusually bold compared to the heavy wear or weak strike of the rest of the coin.

It looks like the Medellin 1877 with 'small arms' and with fineness facing outward listed as '2 known' with no price listed.
Weigh it. Should be 12.5 grams.
