A couple of auction wins tonight!

I had a few bids in at Superior and Goldberg auctions. I didn't win any of the Halfpennies but did get two shillings.

James I about 1621, NGC AU50

The Superior stuff was all 20th C. so there wasn't a lot for me to bid on. The Goldberg auction had some decent stuff, I wa underbidder on a 1771 Halfpenny. Some of the crowns and halfcrowns made very good money, and I saw several of the other countries make multiples of the high estimate.

sweet, nice pick-ups! always nice to win, especially in our heated market right now.

where is the final hammer prices for the Superior auctions? I looked on their website and it still shows the highest internet bid, but doesn't show the final hammer price

Doogy, I could only see the final hammer price at Superior on the lots I had bid on. I was very happy to get the James I at Goldbergs, picked it up for about 60% of my max bid.
