What are circulated wheatie rolls worth?

DoubleEagle59DoubleEagle59 Posts: 8,401 ✭✭✭✭✭
I've got quite a few rolls of circulated wheaties from 1935 to 1958.

Nothing special regarding condition, all mostly worn (early dates avg. VG, 40's and 50's avg vf-ef)

If you were buying them, what would be a fair price?

Thanks,

    List at $50000 per roll.

    Most people would pay $1-$1.50.

Right now melt is about $1.25, so I'd guess $1.50 to $2. After factoring in shipping costs, though, you may be back closer to melt.

common bags sell on the bay about $200/$225, rolls a little less due to high shipping cost.
EDIT....Ambro has the better idea, lol

If a professional cherrypicker never saw 'em... you should consider finding one in your area.

...come to think of it...a roll of nice brown no problem SVDBs would make a dandy long term investment, eh?

I had 230+ wheat cents; they made a nice gift for three YNs.

    Wow!

There is a term I never thought in a hundred years I would ever hear stated when referring to copper cents!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
