IMHO there might be no more beautiful coinage than the early 20th century italian

I was just looking through the catalogs and coin for coin they are stunning works of art.

    Agreed. Hey, why not get the 5L to go with that piece? I got the 1911 5L with what look to be Roman lovers from Heritage auction a couple of years ago and wow! Beautiful!

    Actually, even the minors are fabulous with naturalistic elements such as bees or the 20 cent. with flying goddess...

    I love Italian coins from this period!

    This one is not mine but I do collect this series. I am only one shy of finishing it, in fact. I just need 1911...
