My Memorial Day - Coins & Currency
Happy Memorial Day and a good rememberance to those who have served and sacrificed. Today is not a NATO holiday, so I will work. However, as I prepare to return to the USA, I sorted through my bin of foreign coins and currency.
To my shock I had over 200 pounds! That will go to work and hopefully exchange with a colleague who will travel to London this summer. I also had a few hundred Danish Krones... a colleague is from Denmark and returns monthly, so I hope to trade with him.
Also in the stack were...
Slovenia pre-Euro coins
Hungarian Krones
Swiss Francs
An Australian Dollar (Likely received as a pound)
Bosnian Coins
Croatian Kunas
Russian Rubbles
Turkish Lira
Belgian Francs (Obsolete)
Italian Lira (Obsolete)
Plus an assortment of car wash, laundry, tourist site, elongated, etc.
Have a great day.
