Is this normal?

I dont sell a lot of stuff with multiple quantities available. Well this guy (of course a private feedbacker) bids on 6 0f 9 a few days before the auction closes . A few seconds before it closed today, the same guy bid on the rest. No other bidders. Somehow when he bid aganst himself, the winning bid went up. He sent me a message after the auction ended and asked if i would work it out since aparrently ebay screwed him. Here is the link--auction

If there were no other bidders anyway, sell him all 9 for $14.99 each, and combine shipping to a fair amount. That's what I would do.

opening bid was only 4.99, from the looks of it ebay did screw him. I wouldnt be happy about my bid getting raised either. I feel bad for him, yet his private feeback (100% positive) is still suspicious that he knows something i do not.

    << <i>opening bid was only 4.99...... >>

    I did not know that.
  • I think it has to do with the dutch format, but it should have kept all 9 at 4.99 instead of 14.99

If there was ONLY one bidder, the max-bid has to be $4.99.

If he already paid, refund and reinvoice for the correct amount.
