    My message to seller.

    I think you need to unlist this item it is a fake. A 1943 copper cent is very rare and worth thousands of dollars. Copper plated steel cents are considered counterfit coins.

    Plated steel cents are not "counterfeit" - they are "altered" and there's a huge difference.

    I agree----even though he should say that it is copper plated, it is not priced for what it is.
