That's one nice collection. I looked at his feedback and they have just over 10 positive transactions recently on some large groups of cards. It also says you get everything seen in the pics and on the bottom it says you can do a local pickup. Plus they accept Paypal. I'm not sure, but it looks like it might be a good buy.

One more thing, here is a link to their actual photobucket showing over 800 pics...Maybe you might take a looksy and see if there are more pics of what you see in the auction. Ask the seller if he has larger and more pics for the auction in his photobucket. It looks like he probably does have them.

You are most welcome Tvac. One more thing, upon further inspection of the html coding of the auction , I would say the pics from the auction are all in the "dd" section photos in his photobook, but again ask the seller and he should tell you. Either way, make sure you really want that collection.

Some of the "autographed" cards are ridiculously far off. The Shaq rookie auto is my favorite.
They showed a lot of cards and most of them are either low dollar or low grade.
There's a lot of cards, if you can afford to buy it and pick out the ones you like, then try to sell the rest to get some of your money back that might be a good place to start your collection. Problem is - you might not get much for what you don't want.

I would pass on the auction because I have so much of that stuff already. For you it might be just what you're looking for.

I wouldnt bid on it, even if I was into Modern stuff. Like jimq112 said I think your going to end up with a ton of low grade- penny cards that have zero value. For the 1K + why not find some smaller more inexpensive lots and pick up a few of the Auto cards that you like, and maybe a few nicely graded vintage stars.

Common eBay Gimmick

The guy is trying to unload (mostly) garbage he doest want. Low value mass produced modern shinny stuff mixed with rubber band abused low grade $1-$5 semistars. Looks like boxes of $1 bin/grabbag stuff.

It's the kind of thing you want to rip at a garage sale for a few hundred MAX.

Wow, I can't believe that listing had 56 bids and closed at $2850.00. I could see someone paying less than $1250 and selling a few thousand cards at low dollar, and maybe finding several card surprises. I guess some people saw something in there they really wanted..
