collecting a set vs the perfect set?

For Example- 1981 Fleer Baseball Book value 40a. What is the book value of a PSA10 set? 4000a ? rule of thumb 100x for sets? I am not sure about the 100x factor for 10's I did see a 1973 Pedro Borbon card in 10 sell for 350a a few ticks ago but I sold a raw one today for dollar. I guess I missed out as it was minty fresh.     I don't think it'd be realistic to try to collect ANY major set in all 10s. Maybe one of those 132 card Fleer basketball sets (I've seen plenty of all 9 sets) but certainly not a 600 or 700-something card set.

    Meaning every card is a PSA 10

    I think he's still working on it...just a bare few cards short.

    At any rate -- it's all about supply and demand. although there may be a handful of people intrigued by Fleer's first set in PSA 10 -- the bottom line is that $4,000 is less than the grading fees it would take to accomplish this task...

    If you were putting together an '80s or '90s set in PSA 10, it would be foolish not to rely on 4SC for lots of your 10s, often at $6 or less each. Off the top of my head, I know there are people working on '89 UD, '90 Leaf, and '92 Bowman in perfect 10s.

    Consider it a labor of love, not a moneymaking endeavor though.
