1977 Topps Lopes and Burroughs

OK - I know I'm practically the only one on the PSA "Universe" who collects these - please humor me on Memorial Day.
The first one is the 77T Jeff Burroughs #55 - Topps art. Just in today - I got these from Mike Gidwitz - the former owner of the PSA 8 Wagner.

And second - the 77T Dave Lopes #180 - Topps art.

When I get a web up, I'm gonna take the time to pick up all the cards that go with this stuff and put it all up - hey - ya never know? There may be 2 others guys in the "universe" who collects this stuff?
Thanx and Happy Memorial Day! I have a lot to remember and be thankful for after almost 30 yrs of military service.

I don't collect that stuff, but I think it's cool.

I remember those 1977 cards well, its the first set I put together from packs.
That one would be a great addition to your collection.

<< <i>I wonder why the word "the", which is in the rough draft, was left out on the Burroughs card. Most likely for space concerns, but I always thought the rough drafts that got sold through the Topps Vault were identical to the final product. >>
I wondered that also Nick and my take - when one sees a paste-up type draft - it's one of a few that's being done by the artists.
Now - of interest is where they misspell a word and it goes to production that way:
His "hobby is colleting..."
and the final product - same misspell:
I have quite a few Bazooka Joe and his Gang - art paste ups that are the original pen & ink that don't look exactly like the final cut.
Unfortunately, there's not much institutional memory left to discuss this kind of stuff with?
