New way to sell ebay items?

This may sound like an advertisement, its not.
Trying to find ways to boost eBay sales I did a search, and found an article about Google to take on eBay,
At no cost to you.
Here is a link, I have not been through all the steps yet to make a Google listing, but it sounds very easy.
If you have your own web sight this may be your chance to open some doors.

It was set up like that from the start, ebay could do the same, but they do not.
Base wants products that are for sale and will only accept items that have an instant purchace feature, a Buy Now on CZ or if you are on ebay a Buy it Now.
My take on google getting into the auction business, Its not going to happen. That would be like PCGS getting into Farming. Google is more interested in indexing products that are for sale and making it searchable in other words BASE.
and would be the end of fleabay!
do people search coin zip for coins that are independent from ebay?
The Google base is supposed to enable you to sell, and get use of there search engine, wile linking ebay items to it for more exposure.
Ebay has there own search engine called magellan, but when i search for ebay items I dont go through google to find a coin.
If I was in general, searching for coin shops, or internet based shops I would use Google to get a list.
Many people who look for items, or products would use google search, then this google base will link to your web sight for free.

The main goal of the Auctions is to provide a cost friendly market place for Numismatic items. There are no listing fees, & no commissions. List as many items as you want, we even host 4 images for you FREE.
The only fees are optional up grade services like Home Page Featured, & Catagory Featured. On the one year anniversary sellers will pay a monthly service fee of 3.99.......That's it.
I have made this statement before, there is nothing that says you have to sell your items on 1 web site only. List your items on as many web sites as you can, link them togather (ebay doesn't like this one), and tell everyone you can how to find your items......

I have a question if you can answer, How do attributes, and key words get you on page one of a search?
If I do search for coins, I want to be included in the top results. Any Ideas how this is done?

You first have to figure out which search engine you want to be in the top ten. Then read about how that search engine indexes sites. Then taylor your site to what that engine wants.
Different engines look for different things, Keywords, Meta Tags, site description, content.....the list goes on and on...
Its very difficult to get a top 5 on lets say Yahoo & Google at the same time, unless your site has millions of pages.
Or you can just buy your spot, Google Ad Words.......this method is fast & easy.
To be in the top results for a single word like coins would be difficult to say the least. There is a lot of competition for that word, if you ad kewords to coin, like US coins or Free Coins, it narrows the field of competition.
Right now im going to work on the google search engine.
