Does anyone know if this set has any value? It has rookies like Kobe, Nash, Iverson, Allen, etc...

I was doing a search in ebay and didn't see too much going on with that series. If you go to ebay and type these words in your search for completed sales, 1996 Collector's Edge you should see 9 cards in there. Other than that, I haven't seen really anything that will help you.
