Two neat interviews are slated for today's episode of "Collecting Money" on Coin Chat Radio:
Craig DeRouen, a member of the Gentlemen of Fortune who discovered the New York off the coast of Louisiana. The New York went down in a storm in 1846. Already salvaged are a number of high-grade Southern U.S. gold coins and a nearly complete Capped Bust half dollar set.
PCGS President Ron Guth talks about the spectacular Waldo Newcomer collection. The unique 1870-S gold $3 and examples of the 1804 dollar, 1894-S dime, and the 1885 Trade dollar were among the highlights of one of the finest sets ever assembled.
Show starts at 11 a.m. Central and repeats at the top of each hour. It will also be available in the "Archives" for download or playing.
