You can pick one of these for your collection. which one & why?

a little fairy looking thing (think Michael Jackson in a tutu, with less plastic surgery) is going to allow you to choose one of these rarities coming up in the Ed Price sale. Which one would you choose, and how does it fit your collection (or your interest)?

I would take the 1792 disme but if for some reason I wasn't allowed to take that one I would take the ms61 2&1/2 1796 no stars. As to how they would fit in my collection, they wouldn't fit in but Im sure I could make room.

For sure. The history behind this coin alone would make it the center piece of my US collection.

edited to add: but I don't have any money. Will that be a problem?

I would take the 1796 Dime, JR-5, R.5, MS62 NGC. Ex: Whitney, Norweb. I like the pedigree, love the die crack, and absolutely adore the coin.image

I like the look of the 1796 Dime, JR-6, R.3, MS64 Prooflike NGC. Ex: Whitney, Bareford. Great coin!

The 1796 in MS-67! Finest known early dime, what could there be not to like. It would fit just fine with my interests in 18th and 19th century Federal coinage.

Me, I think I'd take the $2-1/2 1796 BD-1/B-3. I've got a thing for rare gold die varieties, even if I don't collect them. If the 1804 dime obverse private restrike on a large cent is part of the collection (it's in the Heritage previews) I might have to consider that instead.
