Is anyone watching the St. Louis vs San Diego game?

Man, it's been a really odd 3rd inning. Albert Pujols has single handedly taken out the pitcher and catcher on freaky accidental plays.

First, 6'10" pitcher Chris Young was hit between the eyes by a line drive off the bat of Pujols. It cut his head open between his eyes, and blood was spewing everywhere. Then, on a base hit a couple of plays later, Pujols was coming to the plate, slid, and accidently rolled the catcher's foot over the complete opposite direction of how your ankle is designed to move. While I do not know for sure, I would not doubt if the catcher has some damage to his ligaments/tendons, because your foot is not suppose to bend like that.

It has really shaken Pujols up, and he was praying on the field. I sure hope both players will be ok. Just thought I would share.

I really can't think of anything funny to say, but I know it's there.
  • Cant Albert just jump in his Delorean and go back in time and prevent these atrocities?

Reminds me of the time Albert Pujols led his native Scotland to their freedom on the battlefield against King Edward The Longshanks and the English army.

See, I knew it was there.

Yes, I was watching. That was one of the weirdest innings I've ever seen. I saw him saying a prayer with Adrian Gonzalez. He was pretty shook up. Then, on a normal slide into home, he slide into the catchers leg and twisted it around. It was pretty gruesome. I just hope Young and Bard are ok.

I'll not make any more comments because I'll not be taken seriously. I guess, since I have Pujols in my signature line, I will not be able to make any more comments about his play or abilities without getting slammed.

I was just commenting about a baseball game and how 2 players were injured on freak accidents. I have never seen the pitcher and catcher taken out by total accidents, all within a few plays.

You are always the one who does not post about anything, except when it might help fuel an arguement. What positive stuff do you provide? At least I was speaking about a baseball related matter, and my intentions were good when I started this thread. Yours on the other hand is just another snarky response, like you always do.

Yeah, I posted in the wrong section, but I am still getting use to these forums. I never looked for, or noticed the other section for sports talk until just a few minutes ago.
  • And Gumby, if you want to play moderator, there are many more posts just like mine in this particular forum. Maybe you could jump in those other threads and tell them that they are posted in the wrong section, too.

One of the positive things I provide is some guidance about where these threads should be posted. I see that with my guidance, you have now found the Sports Talk forum.

    I'm happy I could help.

Other than that, I have neither the need nor the obligation to argue about my value here.

Well, in my eyes you are nothing more than a smart mouth, who likes to fuel the flames. Do both of us a favor, and mind your own business, so we do not have to cross paths again.

If I make a mistake and post something in the wrong area, I have no problem having Carol let me know. As for you, it's not your job. I can count many posts just on the first page of this section, that are not card or memorabilia specific.

I do not take direction from smart mouth morons.

Like I said, if you will stop trying to stir the pot in my threads, you will never hear me reply to you. I have always ignored you when you started crap with others, because you always rubbed me the wrong way. I just figured it was best to not say anything. But...that all changed when you come at me with your garbage.

    EDIT: to add comments

You are just a smart mouth who loves to see trouble and drama on the board. You cannot refrain from popping off to anyone and everyone when you see a slight opening.

You mind your business, stay out of my threads, and we will never have to cross paths or argue about anything. That's a pretty simple thing to do, unless you just want to keep the flame a going. Knowing you and your patterns, you will utilize the later.

Its my policy to not discuss former board members who cannot be here to defend themselves.

Just a reminder, my first response in this thread was after you called people ignorant for making off-topic replies to your off-topic post. If that was stirring the pot, then your skin is far too thin to last around here. You've been here for 6 months now. Your "I didn't know better" pass has expired.

Now you can reply, calling me a smart mouth and telling me to leave you alone.
  • You are simply not worth anymore replies.

No, I just realize that a fool who is skilled at his craft, cannot be beaten, at what he does best. I concede..

From now on, I will ignore anything and everything pertaining to you. I can see that all you thrive on is if someone gives you the time of day with a response. That is all you truly thirst for, the attention. I will not longer give you that. I'm done replying to you from here on out.
