Just got this on eBay: '82 Topps Ripken No Writing On Back

There isn't any of these graded by PSA, hope this isn't a fake. What would this fetch graded by PSA in your opinion? (I really can't tell if the dots are on the mylar sleeve or the card)

i think these are common fakes.. someone else could give more info.. I know there have been threads though... best wishes for it being real though

Yeah I found the thread you were talking about. It's definitely a fake. He has a 7 day return policy so I don't think I'll have a problem getting my money back. I just E-Mailed him asking for a full refund, not making any accusations, just pointing out that it's a counterfeit.

These counterfeits have been running rampant in the MD area since the 90s. Send it back.

originally printed on 8 card sheets; as others have pointed out an obvious forgery that have been floating around since '91 or so
